Château d'Eaucourt is an ancient medieval castle.
From mid-July to mid-August 2024, VILLAGE MEDIEVAL presents skills that the public can try their hand at, such as stone-cutting, leatherwork, crossbow shooting and more. On Wednesdays, two knights practice jousting. Two night tournaments are scheduled.
From mid-March to the end of August, activities for school groups and CLSH offer the chance to discover medieval skills: stone-cutting, forging, leatherwork, crossbow, medieval garden, heraldry, calligraphy, illumination. Access to the relics is also open to the public outside activity days.
Ready for an adventure, young knights? Make your way to the castle of Eaucourt on a summer afternoon, where all sorts of training takes place. Put on your armour, learn how to use a crossbow, cut stone, work leather and learn about medicinal plants. As being a knight (or a knight's wife) is a difficult job, you can start your training at 3 years old!

I am passionate about medieval history and I love to welcome people to the ruined castles of Eaucourt and Picquigny. There are lots of organised activities, workshops and reconstitutions. To see the children's eyes sparkle is my greatest reward!!
