As part of the Journées des Espaces Fortifiés (Fortified Sites Days), we invite you to take part in an urban stroll to discover the military past of the city of Peron. From the Middle Ages to the present day, the art of fortification has met the challenges of protecting a stronghold like Péronne. Castles, bastions and half-moons are all still visible. Not forgetting the Somme, a natural element that has been worked by man over the centuries.
