Compagnie Les Roger (Amiens
The play is born from the impulse of two texts by the author: a scene of 13 objects followed by selected excerpts from Lentement.
A solitary, authoritarian queen rules with a rattle in her likeness. Her show takes place in the here and now, but we're not quite sure where. All we can sense is that, outside, the world is not quite right. Despite their fear of the unknown, the queen and her maids are not content with their lot. We are permeable to others, we are made of what surrounds us and those we have met. We never know where an impulse might come from. Is another world possible for these four women, and do they really want it?
