Is CaniTransport available in Amiens?
Unfortunately, if you plan to travel by Ametis busbus, you’ll need to carry your pet in a basket or bag. However, it’s important to note that large dogs are not accepted on buses, so if you have a large companion, you’ll need to opt for another transport solution such as a car rental. If you want to travel with your pet in complete freedom, you can use your own car to get around. This will enable you to easily get to the different parts of the city you want to visit, while having your furry friend by your side.
However, it is important to point out that assistance dogs, such as those accompanying the visually impaired, are allowed on board Ametis buses. This is an exception to the rule on transporting animals on buses.

Dog droppings are a common problem in cities and residential neighborhoods. To help solve this problem, many cities have introduced by-laws requiring pet owners to pick up after their dogs. Owners must use special bags to collect their dog’s droppings and dispose of them in the garbage cans provided.
