Go down through the sailors’ quarter “Le Courtgain and discover the charming, colorful fishermen’s houses.

The Remparts Herbarium

GARDEN CHARM

Nestled in the ramparts is a charming little garden that cultivates medicinal, tinctorial and medieval plants… This is the former garden of the hospital nuns. Surrounded by flint and pebble walls, it offers a bucolic and colorful stroll. Some of the region’s chefs come here to stock up on edible flowers and plants for original and unusual cuisine.
